Welcome to the digital administrative portal of BRAND NAME DEPOT INC. These Terms and Conditions govern all transportation, forwarding, and warehouse services provided. When you engage our fleet or facilities, you're agreeing to these structured parameters. Why would we operate any other way?
1. Freight Handling & Cargo Liability
Cargo liability is strictly limited to the valuation declared at the time of BOL issuance. We're committed to safe transit, but unforeseen variables require clear disclaimers. Our liability for loss or damage is generally capped at $0.50 per pound unless otherwise specified in an individual service agreement.
It's important to remember that high-value cargo requires specialized insurance riders. Don't assume standard coverage covers precision technology or precious materials.
2. Transit Delay Disclaimers
While BRAND NAME DEPOT INC maintains a 98% on-time delivery rate, transit times are estimates, not guarantees. Traffic patterns, weather events at the 233 BRIGHT ST hub, and mechanical issues are realities of the logistics industry. We don't accept liability for consequential damages resulting from delays. Time is money, but safety is paramount.
3. Warehousing & Storage Terms
Items stored in our warehouses for freight transportation are subject to monthly billing cycles. We reserve the right to a warehouseman's lien on any goods for which storage fees remain unpaid for over 45 days. Proper documentation is mandatory for all inbound and outbound pallet movements.
Data Security
Your logistics data is encrypted at rest. We don't share routing data with third-party brokers without explicit consent.
Refined Billing
Net-30 is our standard. Late payments incur a 1.5% monthly service charge. Are we being fair? We think so.
